ConsulPoint for operations

AI for operations: from scattered inputs to reviewable work

ConsulPoint combines input processing, knowledge and applications to support operational tasks. An email, document or conversation can provide data for a process, but classification and extraction need to lead to a useful action the team can review.

What to scope first

First define which input starts the work, what information the recipient needs and which conditions allow the process to continue. Avoid automating exceptions that do not yet have clear operational criteria.

Use cases and checks

Example configurations, not commercial results or complete solutions included by default. Applications, integrations and controls are scoped for each project.

Prepare orders received by email

Situation
The team copies references and quantities from messages and attachments before entering them into the ordering system.
With ConsulPoint
Smart Inbox classifies the input. FastETL extracts fields using a schema and an application supports corrections before preparing an export or an integration with the existing system.

What to validate
Check references, quantities and duplicate orders against representative samples. The final ERP connection needs agreed fields, permissions and operations.

Bring incident context together

Situation
The problem description, manuals and customer exchanges are spread across different tools.
With ConsulPoint
Organise resources by customer or installation and use an agent to consult authorised documentation. A tailored application can bring case data together and help the owner prepare the next step.

  • The fields, references and statuses used by the team.
  • Destination system API documentation if an integration is required.

How to evaluate the result

Measure time from receipt to case preparation, corrected fields and items needing additional review. Compare with the previous workflow and separate processing time from waiting time between owners.

Frequently asked questions

Questions from this department

Is a complete maintenance or incident management system included?

These examples combine ConsulPoint components with applications configured for the process. They do not imply a complete CMMS, ticketing system or predictive maintenance included as standard.

Can it automatically register orders in our ERP?

The API must be checked and validation and authorisation defined. Preparing structured data does not mean a finished connection exists for every ERP or that all orders should be registered without review.

What inputs can Smart Inbox process?

Emails, Excel or CSV rows and complete conversations, depending on the connected sources and their configuration. Each item is classified and routed to the relevant folder or process.

What happens with cases that match no criteria?

Exceptions should be defined when the process is prepared. Until an exception has a clear operating criterion, it is better for it to stay with the team than to be automated.

What needs to be prepared to get started?

The supported sources, the fields you need, the classification criteria and the exceptions. The process is then validated with representative samples of real work, and exports or integrations with the existing system are agreed.
