An integrated application is an independent web application used inside ConsulPoint. It turns platform capabilities into everyday tools: reviewing documents, correcting data, consulting information or guiding a specific process.
Applications can work with Knowledge Centre extractions and their own data. A tailored interface means that someone reviewing invoices or managing incidents does not need to understand the entire platform architecture. The application is not necessarily part of the core product.
A folder can have one or more applications for complementary tasks on its information. A conversation’s auxiliary panel can also run custom applications. Availability, operations and context depend on the application and its configuration.
Define users, data, fields, actions and connections with other systems. Technically, it is a web application running in an iframe and using the APIs and context provided by ConsulPoint. Development, validation and maintenance are agreed primarily with the implementing partner or directly with the platform team.
An order review application presents references and quantities extracted from email, allows corrections and prepares an export. A second application could analyse those same records. Both must respect permissions and the authorisation required for each operation.
